I hope so but prob not
I don't think it has had a decent replay function for any platform in multiplayer. Can't see it getting one, same engine etc. Does make clipping mp race events quite tricky, like for judging incidents after the race etc.
On PC it works I saw it by Marcel Kiefer review from the last esports race. He get files from other esport drivers. But for console not even have replay mode

The technology is there, and I believe that with a certain bug, you could view the full race replay from anyone's perspective...
E: Apparently it is only available on PC. Never realized that.
Since beginning of F1 2021 is replay mode for online races available only on PC
On this video you can see Marcel Kiefer change onboard views between other esport drivers
The best reason I can come up with for my this might not be on console is concern about hard drive space?
- TheOldLivyatan4 years agoRising Traveler@Ultrasonic_77 I record my entire quali and race on console without running into storage issues... so I don't believe that to be the reason.
I feel like they're building a stable, working version on PC before moving it onto console. There's nothing about the current gen of consoles that would not allow it to work. - @BankaiBullett I think the problem is the console build is the same for both gens, and the old consoles do not have that amount of CPU and storage

Current-gen shouldn't be held back by the limitations of the old-gen.
