I don't know but I'll be offering my opinion anyway, because not knowing hasn't stopped me before.
I highly doubt it would be added to F1 22. It probably will be added for F1 23 though.
I'm eventually getting a 4090, hopefully with saner prices.

@NylinkNo, they will release DLSS 3 on the next update since tech reviewers already have a F1 22 benchmark build with the feature unlocked. In fact F1 22 is one of the titles specifically marketed by Nvidia to have the feature available on release (so I presume the patch will not be far away).

@AmioramI'm glad to be wrong, and will love to see how it looks in game
Thanks for bringing it up, gonna watch the videos now@realMisterJes I just want to play the game with 100+ fps and having ray tracing on with my ultrawide screen. Right now I can get that but without one effect of ray tracing

So just for reference/contrast
i have an msi laptop with a “3060 mobile” integrated graphics. I can max out F1 22 at 80 FPS. The 4090 will be massive overkill for this game.
- 4 years ago@realMisterJes If you want to use Ray Tracing at high resolution the current cards are not enough and the same if you use VR with high resolution headsets as the G2. I bought the 4090 just because of the latter, so I will finally be able to use the G2 at its max (and judging from benchmarks the card will even be able to supersample the headset without problems).
- 4 years ago@Amioram Did you tested VR already? I'm not yet tried on my Quest 2. 3090Ti gave me a really bad performance in-game. Everything is shaky flaky and crapy. Everything is too blurry 15 meters in front of the car.
- 4 years ago@realMisterJes I'm playing on a triple screen with 8560x1440 resolution. My 3090Ti died with Ray tracing on...
At least now FPS the same with Ray tracing On, and made the game looks amazing.
