I had the opposite problem. Racing at Australia I had the SC called right before turn 1. Delta was held until just before turn 6. After turn 6 we were flat out until catching the safety car. I thought delta would be held for at least a lap, but maybe I misunderstand the rule? It seems like the delta was not held long enough.
