After choosing Authentic format enabling sprint races at Imola, Austria and Brazil, they are not always appearing correctly in the menus. For example, when I'm finished with the Australian GP event and proceed to the next one at Imola, it's not showing the sprint race at all in the main menu of the next round. Just practice, qualifying and the Sunday race. When I exit the game and go to my desktop for restarting the game, then the sprint race appears in the Imola event main menu and I can drive the race. Also, after finishing at Imola, it first shows me a sprint race at Miami with full race length. Again, I need to restart the game to make the Miami sprint race disappear from the event main menu. So.. I'm pretty sure this is a bug EA/Codemasters needs to fix with an update. This bug is still in the game after the update received yesterday.

@EA_rephiiIf you look at the attachments from DRudd13, their attachment with 588 kb actually answers your question already. There is a screenshot from a French sprint race. The key question is though if DRudd13 chose authentic mode before starting the season. I did, and authentic mode enables sprint races in Imola, Austria and Brazil, if they are chosen to the race calendar (in cases of customised calendars, I use the official full calendar). I haven't tried if there actually would have been a sprint race for me in France as the menu showed. Before starting the French gp, I had restarted the game which wiped out the French sprint.So I'm quite sure there is a bug. The screenshots should prove it 🙂

@EA_rephiiJust answering as you previously asked what actually happens if I proceed to the "sprint race" in the event that actually shouldn't have it. Well. As I reached Brazil in my season drive-through process, I decided to try what happens at Abu Dhabi while proceeding there without restarting the game first (which, as I told before, corrects the event main menu). As I guessed, it showed me a sprint race there even if I was in Authentic mode (which only should enable sprint races in their locations, Imola/Austria/Brazil). As I was driving my season with full race lengths, in Abu Dhabi the "sprint" was also full length. Normal points were awarded, as well as in the "main race". In "sprint race" in Abu Dhabi I had the starting grid presentation but not in the "main race".

Sadly no, not at the moment. However, I'm pretty sure this issue reappears when I reach Austria in the calendar. I try to take screenshots then

Something similar but not exactly the same has just happened to me on Xbox in Grand Prix mode 25%. Done the Austrian weekend fine but then went to France and instead of just qualifying and race. There was a sprint race. I just clicked advance and sure enough there was a 13 lap sprint race which is a full 25% race with no pit stop strategy. I retired after the first corner, then the results pop up, and full race points were giving out but no pit stops made. Next race is Hungary, and it is normal qualifying and race. But something is definitely not working properly in the sprint races. I will upload a few pics later.

@KPV4ever yeah, that's the same as me. And you say the workaround is to restart the game before you do qualifying? Maybe that's why it didn't have it at Imola, It might have been my last race that day and never noticed the glitch when I played the next day. Hopefully they can get it fixed.

@KPV4ever Ah ATM I'm only doing Grand Prix mode with no practice, So qualifying is my first session. I'll try to restart the game next time round before I start the weekend and see what happens.

Hey @KPV4ever,

thanks for the report so far. As I understood, you always see the opposite weekend structure in the main menu. Have you once tried to go to the weekend and see if it actually has a sprint race included, although it shouldn't?

Might be a displaying issue, but just want to make sure if it actually includes / excludes the sprint race properly.
