Steam Deck Compatibility?

Hey guys.

I'm slowly switching from my laptop to Valve's Steam Deck, but I'm having some concerns around SteamOS.

F122 is verified for the Steam Deck and runs nicely in general, and now I'm thinking of buying their official docking solution to get more ports, transfer to my 1080p TV and add some Sim-Racing accessorize to it. My old Logitech wheel will most likely be replaced soon, so I would most likely buy something in the lower to mid range to connect to the console.

I already went over some reviews of the Steam Deck Dock, and from what I can tell it's excellent solution if you're looking for a docking station that is integrated with SteamOS and looks nice as well.

But I'm worried if the peripherals would be too much for the little deck? Did anyone have experience with Steam Deck sim-racing setups and can you share some of it with a newbie?

I also looked at the official steam promo material, and in the photo (below) one can't see any wheels or gas pedals...
