Steering too heavy/non responsive when centered with a controller

I can't surely be the only one feeling this right? It feels like there's a HUGE deadzone in the center.  This wasn't a problem from F1 2016 to 2020. It started in 2021 and seems like it continued ...

@PredatorIsBadI have to agree with petro1319 as I don't recognise the issue for F1 2021. I think I do recognise this in F1 22.

What is your hardware? What controller?

    @DukeOfAntwerp Dualshock 4. Less than a year old. Not even drifting. Played F1 consecutively from 2016 to 2020 and this feeling wasn't there. I wasn't the only one feeling this last year too on the forums.
