@Darthsausage44For me it's the complete opposite, especially after the v1.08 update.
The only real issue bothering me atm is the fastest lap bug in races and the lack of the medium tire options. Other than these, I've found a really reliable way to get the right AI difficulty setting and is genuinely enjoying the game overall.
The last time I had this much fun was with F1 2020.
To me, at least personally, 2021 had way more significant issues than 22 and 2020 combined.
Remember? They didn't even have all the tracks ready at launch. The kerbs that sent your car to space? And the issue with AI in some of the fast corners there were literally blatant, way worse than them having just generally good traction of this year. Not to mention the game carried most the bugs from 2020's vanilla build, as well as taking up basically double the disk size thanks to Braking Point, which, lasted only about 10 minutes of my attention. Performance issue was terrible for me as well, I could run max setting smoothly in both 2020 and 22 (with some RT effects activated), while in 2021 I needed to tune down the regular graphic settings (RT off completely) and still getting stutter and instability on the exact same build.
I hope you can find your footing here eventually, because I definitely think this year's game is a stronger, more solid build than 2021, it has more potential than 2020 with the stronger AI and new tracks, just needed a few more patches to smooth out the rough edges.
Also, the modding scene is growing.
