About the wet races, I still needed more testing for post v1.08, because I felt they were indeed extremely strong pre-patch (at least on some specific tracks that I've raced on wet condition, like Canada). Yet, post patch, on my last wet Monza race last night, they were very slow compare to their dry pace with the same difficulty settings.
But, yes, the difficulty settings does get quite whacky at times lol, especially after they've done so many car / ai related patches in such short amount of time.
The ai can speed up a lot in last 2 or 3 laps of a race. Not sure if it’s team mode only or in driver career as well @ScarDuck14 has posted about it. I thought you referenced it by mentioning fastest lap bug?
im encouraged by your comment on wet ai pace I’ve not experienced it since the patch, if that’s better then that’s a good step for me
- @Darthsausage44 Its not a bug. Although it may not be realistic. AI save up their battery so they can deploy 100% in final two laps. By design.

- @Darthsausage44 That's definitely intentional, the AI basically just use up whatever is left in their car up to that point, be it tire life or battery.
They only start doing that from the final sector of the the 2nd last lap, then all the way to the finish line. It's the same for all game modes from my experience, and is not affect by race distance.

I know I do this starting with 2-3 laps to go. Why wouldn't you use up all your battery at the very end of the race?
- @allemands311 generally You would if you were fighting for a place but otherwise you’d keep It turned down and stress the power train as little as possible
