OP appears to be having the same problem raised in other threads. For what it's worth, none of the connection troubleshooting helped me solve this issue.
So I still can't play unless I go offline, any hope for a fix? It's quite shameful
- @Felman They are working on it apparently. I had it happen to me yesterday for an hour or so. Before I could connect. Was hoping it may have been because they were implementing the fix. Unfortunately not☹️
How do you know that they're working on it? I have it stuck on that screen for a few * MONTHS now
- @MerijnM Because i and other champions ask our EA overlords about this and other issues. We don’t get any detailed information. But we will get told if its being investigated
