We have the same issue, both on PC.
Has been working fine up till now with 4 races of the calendar to go. One player loads into the pre-session laptop and the other has a blank screen until the first one leaves. Then they go straight into the session. Seems like the saves are somehow de-synced on and trying to go to different points. Pretty frustrating as every year we get pretty much the exact same bug where we can't load in and the career is lost with no way of recovery. Tried everything to get around it but in the end, always get stuck in a loading screen one way or another.
