Suggestion for halo
Instead of completely getting rid of the halo while in first person, I would like it to be like Fran truismo where it kinda just goes invisible but you can still see it a little bit

- @Nosman_96 Yuuup, 100% agree. Just another option for it would be nice. I was asking them for the same thing back in 2018 when they first introduced halo in game. Fell on deaf ears like most suggestions on the Codemasters forums but good to see other developers went in that direction themselves. Might encourage Codies to finally implement it that way or allow us the option of having it semi-transparent.
Could be that with the VR support, new options for hiding the halo would also be implemented. At least hopefully :P

Wouldn't you want a solid Halo with VR? Part of the reason for removing it is the lack of stereoscopic vision on a 2D screen means you can't see round/through it the way the drivers can.
- @Ultrasonic_77 Usually yes, but I've tried VR with Halo cars and your eyes don't adapt like they do in real life. So more often than not you're looking round the bar rather than absorbing through it.
Although F1 2021 has the standard option of removing the centre bar, so for VR that would work well
