Team livery colors
Hello, all. I am trying to match my helmet to team colors as I switch teams during career mode. Does anyone have or know where I can find a list of hue, saturation, and luminance values to match F1...
Got you. From an old post on the internet:
Alfa Romeo Racing | #B12039 |
AlphaTauri | #4E7C9B |
Alpine | #2293D1 |
Aston Martin | #2D826D |
Ferrari | #ED1C24 |
Haas | #B6BABD |
McLaren | #F58020 |
Mercedes | #6CD3BF |
Red Bull Racing | #1E5BC6 |
Williams | #37BEDD |
These are the hex codes for their official colors as per the F1 broadcast graphics.
Personally though, I prefer to get the colors directly from the teams' websites or official marketing materials. Just don't use photographs.
Now about extracting the codes, there's the long way (opening the image on Paint or Paint.net and doing the obvious routine there) and there's the best way: Microsoft PowerToys' Color Picker. Now I just press Win + Shift + C and I get a color picker anywhere, anytime.
With Color Picker you can get the HSL code directly instead of converting the hex code somewhere.
Extra tip: I love to use Coolors to generate a color palette and play with it. Similarly, you can get the HSL code directly from the site and also use it to convert the hex to any other format.
However, here comes the pain... The game manages the HSL system in a 0-240 scale – probably due to the tooling available to them, as that is how Microsoft products work too. So using Paint can actually save you a few steps:
So in a nutshell, if you find yourself with the regular 0-360/0-100/0-100 HSL scale and wants to recreate it in the game with its 0-239/0-240/0-240 HSL one, just use the following multipliers:
Or straight out Paint 🤷
Edit: Nah, scrap that. Use this to convert your hex codes:
Also you can look for some content creators who simulate real/classic liveries/helmets and share the colour values.
Baseline does a solid work on it:

Hope it helps.
Cheers.
Thanks guys. Going to bookmark this page for myself actually 👍

It's quiet hard to recreate it. I would like to have the same red in my helmet like the Ferrari 2022 had. Can someone help me here? I just play on PS5. Don't know how to you use your multipliers. F1colorconvertor didn't work (the link didn't work)
