@Dan78lokiSadly I didn't take a picture, but last night at Zandvoort 100% distance MyTeam, Russell went from P19 to P4 with a msss strategy while all others went from sm or ssm, and the Mercedes was only the 3rd best car with most teams being actually quite close to each other in terms of R&D.
They definitely would try something different if the calculations said it's viable and the tires are available.
Tire choices is extremely important for 100% race especially during early game with cars that had high tire wear problems, but anything less than that though, not so much. No tire advantage could cover up the lose of time from the extra pitstops in such short amount of race distance.

Wrong tyre Allocations/ no choice which tyres get returned.
Desperately trying to get this issue resolved, there’s even a bug report too titled the same or very similar.
EA/ CM are risking losing their target audience in all of us if they don’t do something or even acknowledge their massive mistake with tyre allocations.
