To me Vettel is already performing at 91 pace, no bad focus, his prime was more 95-96 pace.. Zhou was performing 78 pace all season :P Hamilton is just getting old haha but please we dont need to discuss this, we have different opinions and thats fine 🙂
Yeah exp matters little but it just shows how little effort goes into it
This is the thing though, McLaren and Aston aren't backmarkers anymore. Their real life upgrades brought them back into the midfield which should be reflected in the game as the performance update. It's a fact that McLaren were arguably the fourth best car in Melbourne and Imola after bring eighth in the first two races. But if their base is updated to reflect that, they're then too strong early on.
As for GP mode, it should do the same as what the Real Season Start does in Career mode so that we aren't just stuck with Bahrain spec.
Another alternative is the option to set ALL individual teams money and R&D point gain rather than just player and all AI. That way, we could start McLaren to get increased resources while other teams are at default for those that want even more freedom.

@LiavealYes Mclaren were good when the track suited them! If the base is upgraded the right way then Bahrain wouldnt be much stronger than what it was anyway and Bahrain was mostly the problem with the brakes, the car itself was good and such problems shouldnt have an impact on the whole games performance IMO. Bahrain spec for GP mode would render that almost useless.. Aston Martin and Mclaren completely useless and unrealistic, wouldnt like it
I dont think we will agree on this topic i dont think your opinion is bad in general i just dont think its the right way but thats also only my opinion, all good.. The complete freedom to do whatever we want would be great but this wont happen this game for sure and cant imagine it getting implemented at all, they just dont give us freedom for some reason, maybe FOM- Liaveal3 years agoRising Veteran

It would be ideal for sure though.
GP mode should again, replicate the season. It shouldn't be based on Bahrain spec. With Real Season Career start the game gives teams upgrades so their performance is different to Bahrain. GP mode could perhaps do something similar so the whole season is different and not just Bahrain spec.
Probably but it's good to discuss different ideas and solutions to the issues with the game. There's no hard feelings, just discussion about a game we both want to see improved.
When the real performance update is released this will all be moot anyway as they will inevitably do things the same as previous games. Just hope it's accurate this time!
- Meza9943 years agoSeasoned Ace@Liaveal The game is good enough.. Just needs the right car performances and you get fairly accurate resutls, no game ever can simulate realisticly a team making a bad setup choice, but McLaren having great mechanical and aerodynamical grip but poor top speed (and power unit) alone leads to fairly realistic results, ranging from close to Merc around Singapore or Hungary to 8th or 9th on power tracks! Tested it on F1 2021, its not a huge problem.
GP mode shouldnt be changing the car performance depending on the track but i can understand your point, an option for GP mode to enable real season start balancing would be nice, so have both sides depending on what you want but be real never gonna get into the game😂
Sure discussing is good, but with how limited the response is and more people criticizing lack of things FOM denied its little use to drag discussions past a certain point, but all good😄
I modded all car performances of the 2022 season in 2021 and got it fairly close - cant i foresee how badly Aston Martin muck up their setups though... Like Mercedes very close to the front was obvious by my performances as they have good top speed and aero which is most important at Silverstone, mechanical grip however is usually Mercs weakness which is of little importance at Silverstone.. Anyway what i want to say is if the tar performances are anything like what theyve been in 2021 or so far in 22 - all values getting worse (in general) from fastest to slowest - it wont make a major difference anyway results will stay the same especially with the poor driver ratings, just such a shame with what potential the game has
