@SexyBrigadeiro One other point is ERS mode/mapping. This is either bugged or needs to be looked at for future versions of the game.
I’m suspicious that there is a bug because my MyTeam car will take forever to recharge. It seems like 10 laps of lift and coast before I regen enough charge to push for position again. I don’t remember 2021 being that way.
In real life, they can change the ERS mapping to capture more energy, if needed. I have heard that some teams have 5 or more levels. I don’t think we need that complexity. But at least a harvest (e.g max 1MJ used) and balanced deploy mode that we could select would be helpful.

@gatorlb I partially agree - now let me explain why..
I agree that we should have a better way - meaning more ERS deploy modes - to manage both our ERS usage and recovery during the race.
This used to be possible until F1 2020 (or F1 2019), but it was removed since then.
We actually CAN still do that, but only during the Free Practice sessions (but NOT in the Race), where we can choose from 4 different ERS deploy modes:
- None (means no ERS usage at all and full recovery mode)
- Medium (the one we are forced to automatically use during the races)
- Hotlap (used for the Quali Sim program, for example)
- Overtake (means maximum usage/power of ERS)
So, in my humble opinion, I think we should be allowed to have and switch freely between at least 3 modes during the race:
- None / Full Recovery
- Medium
- Overtake / Max Power (activated when we press the Overtake button)
If the drivers can do this in real life - if the rules allow that - then we should have that in the game and be allowed to do it as well.
BUT..
Although the ERS usage seems to be higher in this game, which makes the ERS management and recovery a bit harder, it was pretty bad at the beginning of my MyTeam career, but it got better and better (and easier to manage) as I developed my car - right now I'm on my season 3 and I have exactly 19 parts developed on each one of the 4 departments and I still have about 5 parts to develop on each department as well.
So, my point is: it's natural to struggle a bit more with that management on the first seasons and/or while your car is not too developed yet, but it will get better in the future.
Still, I agree that we should be allowed to cycle through the ERS deploy modes during the Race sessions and be allowed to put it to None/Full Recovery when necessary.
