I don't own the game yet, because after my experience with EA's "NHL" series, I refuse to buy any more of their products unless the quality is actually deserving of the price.
What you guys have convinced me of so far, is that despite having VR (finally) and upcoming cross-platform play, this game is still not worth purchasing.
It's no coincidence to me that the first full year of EA ownership results in....this smelly mistake in the middle of the floor.
Dear EA: I WANT to buy your game, but I won't until your company starts behaving like you actually care about the quality of your release. You've burned me too many times in NHL for you to get the benefit of the doubt.

I also don't want to come here and simply cry and complain, as I wanted the game to be 'perfect for myself only' and then say a bunch of negative criticism about the company, etc - I don't want to be unfair to any of the people working there - and I actually want them to succeed as a company and I want them to make great games and give the players amazing products, so we can just enjoy it all and have lots of fun, BUT.. they also let me down so far with this game..
I hope that this topic and these discussions help them to understand how much we care about having a high quality product and even that we're willing to help and point them in the right direction when they're not doing the best job they could - actually, we 'cry & complain' because we care, right?!..
Anyway.. here's hoping this game gets better and better - it HAS to!!..

Added this to the list and I believe this is also something that a lot (most?!) of the players would like too - I know I would:
- 15) New tracks added to the game should be allowed into custom seasons calendars on career modes (regular & MyTeam).
This is clearly one of the main uses the players want to give to these new tracks - yes, it's great to do time trials, online and GP races on them, but the best thing is to be able to add them to custom seasons of 10 or 16 rounds - at least from Season 2 on (after Season 1)..
I also understand that getting the licenses to use some of them can be more complex than we think, but I honestly hope you guys can add some of the 'old' tracks that the Codies F1 series used to have in the past, like Sepang, Nürburgring or Turkey, to name a few (the last two were even used in real life recently, for example)
You should also add all SC bugs and furthemore...
1) Delta time incorrect or confused during SC
2) AI crashing into the USER DRIVER for whatever reason during SC
3) AI trying to overtake during SC phase
4) 2 player career - corrupted saves because of suddenly corrupted race formats during weekends
5) 2 player career connection problems (even in LAN mode)
6) AI LAST LAP GOD MODE
7) RESTART RACE BUTTON FOR 2 PLAYER CAREER!!!!!!
