Totally agree with all of your points AI is definitely not affected by tyre temps they have perfect temps at all times.
AI wear is apparent in some races but not all.
AI are way to slow at 110 into slow corners.
The difference in AI from track to track is amateurish at best.
I think they must change the surface friction of the track it is the only way that they can get it so wrong.
I love this game but I wont defiantly be buying any more F1 games until the whole system is fixed.
That means as follows -:
A total new in game design tool for helmets and cars race suits the works.
Total control over driver placements not their stupid choice but ours power to the consumer.
Total control over what type of Career we want to have not the piddley 3 that they have at the moment.
That means choose the exact amount of laps we want the race to be the order we want and which races plus all the others that they stole from us in the first place.
Total control over our team mates pit strategy.
Oh and a couple hundred more save slots and save when we want NOT WHEN YOU EA TELL US. YOU ARE THE WORST GAMES COMPANY IN HISTORY.
@gmhsv8I agree with you too and some of the things you suggest the game should have (now or in the future) are also good too.
I will reply to you by quoting myself from another post in terms of AI tyre temps and some interesting stuff I found by looking at the replay after the race - it's a bit long (sorry), but worth the reading, I believe - cheers:
"I just had a My Team (3rd season) 22 laps (50% real life distance) race in Belgium against the AIs at 100% and although I won, even after starting from P20 and the race was actually super fun and I was able to challenge the AIs just fine and we were all on a very similar pace/performance, I was able to CONFIRM that the AIs tyre temps management is 'broken' and NEED some adjustment, because the way it is, is giving them a HUGE and obviously UNFAIR advantage - let me explain:
After the race, I took a look at the race replay and then travelled through each driver's cockpit cam, so I could read all the info in their wheel huds and this is what I saw:
- Both the player and the AIs started the race with all 4 tyre temps on 70ºC (no formation lap).
- The AIs could reach higher temps faster and more easily than the player.
- Before the end of lap 1, the AIs temps were already on 92ºC for all tyres, while the player was still around the 80s.
- The AIs temps NEVER change from 92ºC after that (it's literally constant and fixed on each corner/straight and on each lap) - they only go back to 70ºC when they box for fresh tyres.
- After the pit stops, the same happens: the AIs can get their tyres up to 92ºC even before their outlap ends - the player needs more than 1 lap to do the same.
- The player tyre temps fluctuate a LOT and even on a balanced setup and careful driving, they can reach 100ºC - which is still ok, but the problem is that the players have higher temps for the most part, while the AIs are constantly on 92º, so at the end of each stint, the players have a LOT more wear on the tyres and perform worse - no wonder why and how the AIs can always get their best and fastest laps at the end of their stints - they ALWAYS get there with a lot LESS wear and having those constant tyre temps on the ideal range obviously help them to get great lap times pretty much all of the time.
You guys can check my full analysis of the matter here - it starts at the 01h53m17s mark:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1568882884
Long story short:
The way the AIs 'manage' their tyre temps is pure BS and that 'small' detail give them a BIG (and obviously unfair) advantage over the players during the course of each stint and longer races.
The devs MUST find a way to 'simulate' that to be closer to what the players get - the AIs tyre temps should fluctuate more and ALSO go out of the ideal range here and there - and their tyre wear should also be higher and closer to what the players have.
It's NOT a matter of telling the players to 'drive more carefully', or 'drive slowly', or even 'drive better'. This HAS to be fixed (or at least adjusted) and be more fair and less BS-ish - the AIs should respect and be bound to the same game's laws of physics as the player - hope this gets addressed and worked on the future patch(es) ASAP."

Great post!
Priority nr 1 should definitely be fixing AI aggression/stupidity imo.
I primarily play Co-op career, and we are not able to finish races due to AI''s thinking they're playing Wreckfest...

@Ad3p7Thanks, my friend and now let's just hope EA actually reads it and work on at least some (but hopefully ALL) of those issues and that we get fixes ASAP!
@EVERYONE:
Updated the 1st post - they got ONE of those items fixed - YAY!!!
1 down.. a LOT more to go - come on!!!

Please add the lack of proper optimizations for VR. I understand that VR is something that only a portion of users are interested in, but it is anyway very important and almost nobody talks about the problems there. Since the first patch very little has changed for what it concerns performance in VR and it's a shame because nothing beats the immersion of such a mode and with just a little of effort F1 22 would be one of the most beautiful games in VR. It is just that the mode is being almost totally neglected.
Even basic VR settings as tying the camera to the horizon are still not present, and there are still many performance optimizations that CM could do to make VR much better than it is. I can still play the game in VR and enjoy it but it's a shame to think how much potential there is that goes wasted.
