I know it also sounds like some of those 'conspiracy theorists' guys, but.. I also strongly believe that the game IS programmed to 'cheat' and throw all kinds of 'obstacles' in the way of the player and make things harder than they should be - this happens a LOT to be just coincidence..
I understand that this is an aspect of several other games and that the game is just trying to create 'new challenges' to the player, etc, BUT.. at the same time, I think we have the option to set the AI level to, literally level things up with our own skill level and that should be more than enough to give us the EXACT amount of challenge we want, so.. it feels like being cheated when all kinds of unbelievable BS gets thrown at you, over and over again - I honestly DON'T like this aspect of the game - once again: I understand and think this is ok for other types of games, but it feels super frustrating (and like being cheated) in a game like F1 22 - also, I think that's completely unnecessary and unwanted, so.. I hope the devs think twice about having/adding stuff like this to the game/AI coding in the future - here's hoping..

I believe RNG means Random Number Generation, right?
And sorry if I got you wrong - I'm brazilian and my english is far from perfect - but if you were saying that supposedly random things that happen in the game doesn't feel so random, I have to agree with you - I think it's just how the game is programmed (coded) to be - it's coded to 'cheat' if necessary, just to increase the challenge to the players - which I can understand, but I don't actually agree with it - as I said, we already have the ability to set the AI skill level to match ours and that should be enough, instead of adding some (not so) 'random' stuff to screw up the player, especially when we're already trying pretty hard to beat the AIs - or even if we just want to chill and have fun - if we want a real big challenge, let US (the players) decide and increase the AI level and all other options that can make the game harder - at least this is how I see it..

Started a career in AlphaTauri. Race 1 Bahrain: mechanical failure forces my retirement on lap 14 halfway through the race. I was outperforming the car at level 75 reaching p6-7 easily.
Race 3 Australia: raised the level to 80 to try and make it more realistic and the game forces me to retire again on lap 5 when I was on p5.
Both were an electrical system failure so I was forced to mount the 3rd additional part, I will have a grid drop penalty.
I'm feeling frustrated!
