I believe RNG means Random Number Generation, right?
And sorry if I got you wrong - I'm brazilian and my english is far from perfect - but if you were saying that supposedly random things that happen in the game doesn't feel so random, I have to agree with you - I think it's just how the game is programmed (coded) to be - it's coded to 'cheat' if necessary, just to increase the challenge to the players - which I can understand, but I don't actually agree with it - as I said, we already have the ability to set the AI skill level to match ours and that should be enough, instead of adding some (not so) 'random' stuff to screw up the player, especially when we're already trying pretty hard to beat the AIs - or even if we just want to chill and have fun - if we want a real big challenge, let US (the players) decide and increase the AI level and all other options that can make the game harder - at least this is how I see it..

Started a career in AlphaTauri. Race 1 Bahrain: mechanical failure forces my retirement on lap 14 halfway through the race. I was outperforming the car at level 75 reaching p6-7 easily.
Race 3 Australia: raised the level to 80 to try and make it more realistic and the game forces me to retire again on lap 5 when I was on p5.
Both were an electrical system failure so I was forced to mount the 3rd additional part, I will have a grid drop penalty.
I'm feeling frustrated!

I’m now in season 2 of My Team and noticed something really odd at the end of season 1 and just found it again at Spa.
In Brazil in season 1 the race changed from dry to wet towards the end. In the dry I was running in the top 10 but the AI were gaining over 1s on the back straight alone even without DRS (kind of expected considering my car had low development at this stage). When the rain came I switched to inters at the same time as the AI and was doing fine for a few laps, but as the track got more wet I was struggling more and more just to keep the car on the track. I had AI cars overtaking me for fun, I had zero traction out of the corners and was spinning in 5th gear.
When I asked for a weather update I would be told full wets are fastest tyre but the AI were flying on inters.
I just had a race in Spa in season 2, the forecast was for a wet start, then changing to dry and then back to wet…….I started in about 5th on inters (some of the AI had taken penalties) and was keeping this position fairly comfortably up to the first stop for dries. I think I did about 5-laps on the softs before the rain started coming down again and I pitted for inters like the AI. But after 4 or 5 laps of wet racing the rain increased and again I had zero traction, I couldn’t go on full throttle until at least 6th gear. But the AI were simply flying around the corners like it was still a dry race.
In dry or intermediate conditions and can compete with the AI but as soon as the weather crosses over to full wet racing the AI still have maximum grip and traction while I’m sliding all over the place.
