Please, for the love of God, remove the throttle limiter when the safety car is about to go back to the pits. It's one of the most irrealistic, frustrating and horrible things in this game.It was removed in F1 2021 and then added back for whatever reason, and I'm yet to see anyone saying that's a good thing.It prevents you from warming up the rear tyres during the last sector of the circuit, get closer to the car in front for the race restart, and sometimes it plain and simple prevents you from having a decent launch, you get swamped by the AI and lose several seconds.I play with no assists for a reason, stop forcing them on me.*insert Bottas quote*

I really don't have a clue on why anyone thought it was a good idea to implement the throttle limiter.Whoever it was, they quite clearly either don't play the game or don't care. Most likely both.

Yeah, I'm not giving up on this. Especially since no one from EA/CM even aknowledged the issue.I've yet to see anyone liking the limiter.I get that some player may need it, but it's incredibly dumb to push for realism and force people who actually want to play properly to have this stupid limiter shoved down our throat. ESPECIALLY after putting such a big importance on tyre temps. By this logic then don't give an option to disable any assist. Give us full TC and ABS without the option to disable it! (Sarcasm)Either remove the limiter, like you already did on F1 2021 after all, or give us an option to disable it if we so choose.

Are you guys talking about My Team/Career mode?
If so I suspect its script to keep the racing close.

No, it's mainly related to online racing since we can't warm up tyres well, nor can we prepare the appropriate distance to the SC when it comes in.
When I'm a leader I break this script by letting the SC go away in the middle of the track on lap 3 - usually, it's lap 3 when the SC comes in - so I become a SC and drive slowly so that by the time this #keep the racing close SC comes to the pits, the magic happens - no longer restrictions are applied. Then we all have the ability to warm the tyres and prepare for the restart as we want.
It's not to keep the racing close it's to simplify things that should not be simplified.
