Thrustmaster driver update

Hey everyone,

A new patch for Thrustmaster peripherals has been released that should fix some compatibility issues.

We have some important notes for you, which are relevant for the installation, and also listed the changes of the driver update down below.

If you are currently having problems with your devices, we recommend updating the driver with the following steps:

You can download the newest driver HERE

Important notes regarding F1 2022 - PC:
  1. In addition to installing this new driver, it is also recommended to disconnect your other USB gaming devices (such as USB shifter, USB handbrake, USB gamepad, etc.) in order to avoid any conflicts with USB wheels and/or USB pedal sets.
  2. If you are using a Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On simultaneously with a T-LCM Pedals set connected via USB, you must select NORMAL Mode (and not ADVANCED MODE) in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. You can select ADVANCED MODE only if the T-LCM Pedals set is connected directly to the Thrustmaster wheel base with the RJ12 cable.
Changes made in new driver version [2022_TTRS_1]
  • Fixed some compatibility issues with F1 2022 - PC:
  • When used with a T-LCM Pedals set connected via USB simultaneously with a Thrustmaster wheel base.
  • When used with a T-LCM Pedals set connected via USB simultaneously with a base from another brand (such as Logitech, Fanatec, etc.).
  • When used with a Thrustmaster wheel base (even if it is not a Force Feedback wheel, T80 racing wheel, Ferrari Racing Wheel Red Legend Edition, e.g.).

I tried to install this new driver for my thrustmaster T80 but it still doesn't work... How can I fix it? I would like to play the game

Assuming you have first installed the 2018_FFD_2 driver, I would just install 2022_TTRS_1 and do nothing other than check the controller properties in Windows.

If you see the T80 in the 2022_TTRS_1 Thrustmaster Control Panel then delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and verify Steam files.

There should be a default T80 control schema in game. Test it.

Have you tried turning off all other LED support in the telemetry screen?

  • yesterday my Thrustmaster TX wheel begin to not work the force feedback as soon as i load the game.

I play on Xbox Series S

Forza and ACC the force feedback works fine, only in the F1 game its fails, all the buttons and pedals work only the force feedback is the problem.

If i'm at the game, in any mode, the wheel is loose without any resistance, but if i press the xbox button to go into the console menu, the force feedback comeback to life, but as son as i went back into the game, the wheel is loose again.

I've try to reinstall the game, update my wheel with the latest firmware but nothing seems to work.

anybody have this issue and had success in fixing it?
