Thrustmaster driver update

Even with 1.06 and triple checking I'm using the most up to date firmware for my T248 (package reports 1.TTRS.2022, with firmware 2.00-R2.00 and driver 2.10.87.0), even after an uninstall of the wheel firmware and reinstalling it, I still often boot up the game and have no wheel or pedal inputs recognised. It worked first time when I booted 1.06 up after the update but it's back to me having to try loading and closing the game repeatedly before I'll get a response from the wheel. All through this, the wheel itself recognises the game because the display will change to show me it's in gear view. Never faced anything like this with F1 2021.
