Connect the T-LCM via RJ-12 (remove USB whilst you do) to prove the issue. This should work, also it will prove the T-LCM mode of the base is detecting correctly. Then try moving back to USB and see if this changes anything. I still believe all of this is related to the Thrustmaster firmware updates that detect the T-LCM or any USB pedalset. So I think it is a firmware issue as well.

Thru RJ12 it's working, but connecting T-LCM via USB is better.

I'd argue if you can really tell the difference, you shouldn't be sim racing. Placebo. 🙂 Your pedal would be great in 8-bit resolution, maybe less.

Anyhoo, I have the earlier firmwares for you to compare and contrast. Feel free to try them, there is no need to change the driver from the latest. You can easily flashback to the latest firmware.

Firmware v30, v31, v32, v33 (my Dropbox)

Copy to C:\Program Files\Guillemot\tmfwupdater\firmware then run the TM Firmware Updater. Restart the PC and wheel with each new firmware, I would try working up from v30. I'm pretty sure your issue will be fixed.

v30 is the first one to support T-LCM, only v34 adds anything to do with your setup, v31 through v33 just add SF-1000 rim support.

Thanks for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated. So, in essence what your saying is that even with v30 there is no possibility to detect the T-LCM on USB in F1 22? (it is a plug and play device, I trust it is functioning within Thrustmaster CP as expected?)

One other thing to try when reconfiguring controllers is to verify Steam files and delete the hardware_settings_config.xml - however, I notice you are not on Steam but Origin. @EA_rephii @EA_Kent @EA_Atic is there a similar game file verification process on Origin/EA App?

F1 22 detect T300 (open wheel addon) or T-LCM (USB), but never simultaneously. When F1 22 see the steering wheel, it does not detect the T-LCM.

However, when I launch the Game Controllers settings in Windows, select the pedal properties, then close the window, the game sees the pedals but not the steering wheel.
And vice versa. Opening the steering wheel properties causes the game to not detect the pedals, only wheel.
I don't have any others game controllers. Only T300, TLCM and ofcourse mouse and keyboard on USB.

I've checked file verification multiple times and delete hardware_settings_config.xml after the hotfix update to 1.09.

And specification: Windows 10 (full updated), Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT GAMING OC 6GB GDDR6 (latest drivers), MSI x470 Gaming Plus Max (latest BIOS 7B79vHG), Ryzen 3600, 32 MB RAM.

That's the only way I was able to use the T-LCM on USB with the T-300. If you start the game with both devices connected to USB, one of the two don't work. If you then disconnect the T-LCM and connect it again when the game is running, it too doesn't work.

Try that with your current firmware and drivers. If it still doesn't work the way described, update drivers AND firmware to latest, and follow the procedure to set the base to autodetect the pedals connected on RJ12 (I know, it's counterintuitive, but I suspect it has something to do with the game's detection routines).

I don't know why this game is such a **** with plug and play peripherals which work flaulessly on the rest of the existing racing games.

@EA_Barry if you can still get this to the correct devs to replicate the issue, then hopefully they can fix it so people can just update drivers and firmware and be done!

Sorry this fix doesnt work just spent 2 hours trying to get it to go.

Still says.....xbox wheel required

Gas is still 13 percent and brake 6

Cant change wheel rotations.
