Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition steering wheel not Detecting

Summarize your bug I am using the Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition steering wheel. When I launch F1 22 my steering wheel does not detect at all and I am unsure of how to get the game to detect it. When I launch F1 2021, the steering wheel is instantly detected.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect a Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition steering wheel.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't get F1 22 to detect my steering wheel.
What do you expect to see? I want to be able to connect my steering wheel.

My Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition steering wheel does not get detected by F1 22 at all. I have asked codemasters about this issue and they have asked me to contact EA Support about it.

    You‘re a genius (or the guy from Twitter - but I don‘t care)!  I just created an EA account only for the purpose to thank you! This worked perfectly and you made my day and you made my son‘s day who was so disappointed to wait hours and hours to then realise that his steering wheel does not work. But thanks to your hint we could solve the problem.

    @Alex_976 Haha no problem man! I was in the same boat, struggling the whole day trying to find a fix for it and contact EA multiple times, was so excited when I got it working. I'll make sure to let the guy on Twitter know :D

    When i downloaded the drivers, my pedals and steering wheel didn`t do anything.

    I have the t80 too. But when i download the t150 drivers, only the buttons on my steering wheel work. not the pedals and steering wheel. Do you know how to fix this?

    No. the T80 is not supported by the Thrustmaster unified driver pack.

     

    This will be a decision between Thrustmaster and Codemasters devs. Pretty much that the T80 driver pack is abandonware as Thrustmaster have a newer wheel to sell you at that price point that is included in that unified driver pack.
