So this is what I've gotten so far with this method in season 2, which I kept all the driver transfer only happen in year end, and moved a few drivers to teams I want/prefer them to be in. Can't lie I'm pretty satisfy so far, at least compare to what the game usually does to the market.
This is after Bottas and Vettel both retired after season 1.
Alonso back to Ferrari for a final sprint, he just won a race in Austria.
Checo returned to Sauber for the final stage of his career.
Sainz gave up on Ferrari and rejoined the Red Bull family, currently toe-to-toe against Max.
Oscar joined Alpine, this is the real goal I was trying to achieve in this game before all the current shenanigans. The hardest part here is to move Alonso somewhere else to make way for Oscar, which eventually succeeded by leaving the top teams fighting for their life on the last day, with the last couple of available top acclaimed drivers.
Also I hired Liam and relocate Sato to Aston, next goal would be moving Liam to AlphaTauri by hiring either Gasly or Yuki, which I would eventually try to move one of them to Red Bull.
Looks like Daniel is about to retire too, may be I should move either Oscar or Sainz to McLaren?
