two players career mode - Stuck in loading

Summarize your bug So when I try to play two player carrer with one of my firends (over steam) we are always stuck in a loading screen or in the session manager before the start of a session. When I try to join him i cant even join his lobby.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hard to say, because I didn't find anyone else with the exact same bug. But ill try to explain. So when I start a coop career I can invite him and he can join. The Team management and everything works fine, but when want to continue to the first race, the loading screen on his site just goes forever. When we quit and try to restart the lobby, I can start it and see the session manager (where I can still manage R&D and stuff), but he would be stuck in the loading screen again. Only if I try to continue to the next session, his loadingscreen ends. But at my site he is still "busy" and even if he tries to continue he cant. And when he tries to host the lobby i just basically cant join. It tries to connect, but when the screen with "connecting to playerXY" it just takes for ever and then a message comes up, that there was an error while connecting. Then I get kicked back to the menu, but that is buggy then too, because i dont see any buttons, and cant press anything. I only see my Account name and PitCoins in the top right.
What happens when the bug occurs? Basically we are stuck in the session manager because we cant continue, or the game just crashes for one of us.
What do you expect to see? A working coop career mode...

    The teams are aware of and working on issues where players are unable to join friends in lobbies and/or career mode.

    Hey, first of all thanks for the answer!

    We still couldnt fix the problem with the last patch. But I would have a new question. Is it relavent if I have an IPv6 Address?

    Because my friend plays with an hybrid router which combines his DSL and LTE connection. (ZTE h388a is the name of the router) Maybe this could be the origin of the problem. Because nobody can connect to his lobbiys, but if he connects to my lobby an at least one other player comes in, we can play. (independed of the two player career).
