TYRE TEMPS AI

How is it possible for the AI to have a perfect 92 tyre temp on all 4 corners? I have only just noticed, no wonder they have such good tyre wear.

This was not the case in F1 2021 as all 4 corners were diff temps but now, they are the same. How can a company completely stuff a game up in 12 months.

Like Quali if you do all Quali do not fast forward, the times are not too bad compared to yours but fast forward the AI pick up 2-3 seconds which is ridiculous.

So, this means they are not using the car ERP files the VTF file when extracted to operate the AI.

This is why other modes differ in times surely if they took all modes of these Car VTF files the consistency would be there other than on certain tracks.

I HAVE edited all VTF files reduced all cars from R Bull and Ferrari 8kgs to Williams and A Martin 25kgs to get some predictable finishes in Quali.

So, with these edited VTF files of all the cars I have got the fast forwarding down so no car goes any faster than their fastest lap set sometimes they go 1 to 2 tenths faster but not 2-3 seconds.

This is the way it should be why do I have to spent 20 hours of experimenting on their game when it should work properly in the first place

So, I use R Dept driver transfer tool to get what I want. Should be in the game it is choice is it not whether we want no transfers or not our tool in game our choice an outsider can do it so why the hell can't a multi-million-dollar company do it? pure and utter laziness.

I use the Tyre transfer tool from R Dept to get the 2nd Mediums into the race so i can and the AI 2 stop races in 50% races. Use the Mod to change tyre wear.

So, all this means that without R Dept Mods I and many others would not be able to play or have so much fun playing the game I have bought every year since release.

But I can't fix or i should say R Dept the slow into corners and stupid hold ups that the Devs have introduced to try and please some.

Oh, and what about a Helmet design in game tool an easy to livery in game tool oh so sorry to hard I just heard it will be in the game same time when they fix the Tyre choice Thingy I think they said 2090 or somewhere about then.

So, EA if you don't listen to your faithful customers, you will lose them the best thing a company does is to look after the customers and give them what they want.

I have stopped posting here because of the lack of response from EA and the horribly low velocity of bug fixes or improvements.

I do want to agree with your statement though.  They lost me and also all my kids as future customers for their games, including Madden, NHL, and others.  We all played about 500+ hours each of the previous 3 games.  My kids were the first to give up on F1 22.  I thought we just needed to wait a few weeks for first patch.  But with each patch, something new was broken and I have also given up.
I do check back here from time to time to see if the game is worth trying again.  But many of the obvious issues from launch are still there.  At this point it is clear there is no intention to fix.  I just don’t understand how such obvious design issues could get through testing and be present at launch or even a month post-launch.  I’ll stop my rant here since it doesn’t matter and it will not change EA’s behavior.  But, to be clear, I would never buy a game from them again knowing how we were suckered on this game and how a franchise my family loved was ruined in one release.

A previous topic about this same issue/subject:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Tyre-PRESSURE-amp-TEMPS-really-matter-on-F1-22/m-p/11785524#M13642

    But long story short:
Yes, it's BS that the AI can easily keep their tyre temps like that and they should have a more 'human' behavior and fluctuate/struggle a bit more (especially in the rain), BUT there is a way for the player to try and 'match' that (or at least reduce the issue a bit) if you work on your car setup, especially with the Tyre Pressure values - but yes, it takes time and patience too..

  • @gmhsv8 Hopefully the lack of support is a sign that Codemasters is facing internal changes and hopefully EA will assign the F1 games to a competent company that doesn't copy paste the same issues every year while creating new ones.

I think people need to be realistic in what they want then. If they want another team in the EA branch to make F1 then they'll have to wait a few years. If people want a decent F1 game under CM then they should petition EA/FIA to change the license to release the game every two years to allow for a decent development cycle. When a game is on a yearly cycle under the same team ( and not two separate teams in CM which has previously been suggested), what more can you expect than a copy and paste filled with the same bugs already present in the base code?

Gamers (and iPhone users 😂) also need to wise up and stop buying yearly editions of games lining the pockets of companies who see this as a good enough reason to reissue products with almost no changes every year.

If your having issue with keeping up with Ai due to tyre temps I suggest changing tyre temps from carcass and surface.  To surface only so your on par with ai.
