Tyre Warmup - F1 22

Tyre Warmup:

EA need to sort out the tyre warmup issues. The AI does not suffer from tyre warmup issues anywhere near enough. I end up losing 3 or 4 positions every time.

@Leetezzdaug They do suffer from cold tires, they just get them up to temperatures way faster than the player.
What really needs fixing is in changeable conditions. If you go from wet to dry close to the end of the race and some AI don't box for dry tires, they don't seem to overheat their inters as much as the player would, and with that not getting slower that they should be.
  • They have far far superior grip compared to the actual player. The undercut is completely useless.

@Leetezzdaug Just today I was able to undercut Verstappen after going from M to H a lap before in Jeddah. Undercut always depends on the track and traffic ahead after pitting. Next time, when you leave behind a car that just boxed, notice that you actually gain some time in the first few corners.
  • I was racing in Bahrain, was around 1.2/1.3 seconds behind him before the pit stop, after, I was 6 seconds behind…

I’m not convinced they do suffer from cold tyres like the player does. Sure, they are coded to be slower on outlaps, but they get the hards upto speed way to quick
