Hint: If you know you will only use mediums and hards in the race you can use a bit higher pressures, not much higher though but it adds to it!
Subtle steering helps both tyre temps and tyre wear though but its difficult to train subtle steering while being fast
Thanks @Meza994 for the information, it’s definitely helped bridge my gaps in understanding.
Thankfully I’m pretty smooth with my throttle, braking and steering which is why I was struggling to understand why the wear was so high. I’ve never had to worry about tyre temps or wear before (prior to 1.06 and previous titles), and so I could adjust for my own “feel” as I wished. But now it’s a factor, it’s definitely a challenge I need to get on top of.

Ok I’m missing something. Was my first monsoon race in this game and for some silly reason I didn’t change my suspension setup and suspension telemetry from my super responsive Jeddah set up. So only parc ferne settings were available: so being wet min pressures. And it did actually feel like I was running on completely flat tyres.
So restarted race and pumped front tyres to middle pressure and rears 2 clicks higher. And to my surprise traction and handling was vastly improved- @ScarDuck14 Thats because the performance and temperature is higher at higher pressures
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. But just seems wrong
