Has anyone else had an issue where you can’t speak to your engineer during a race on career mode? He can still speak to me but the little headset icon with ‘RB’ next to it isn’t on screen and when i press ‘RB’ nothing happens. Playing on Xbox series X.

Not in the way that is required they haven't. See the other thread I linked to above for details.
PC - Steam version here and experienced broken pit communications as well. I've only run in GP so far but on several occasions the button that opens the MFD pit menu stops working all together and remains broken the rest of the session. Not sure what triggers though. I use a G920 wheel and the button that stops working is X. It works for others items but the pit MFD menu dies.

Yes; happens to me quite often. Usually if using a flashback, or if you have a "technical issue". Usually once the engineer tells me there's an issue; then it's resolved the option to radio to the crew via the MFD is gone.
Now here's a shocker for everyone.. this was a bug present in F1 2021 as well that was patched last year. Yet... here we are again!
