Unlapping under safety car
Can you unlap yourself on the new f1 22 under safety car ?

I've seen at least one gameplay video with a safety car but I recall no mention of cars unlapping themselves. There may have been none to unlap of course. Personally I'll be surprised if we find this is in the game.
From a game perspective it's not the same issue as it is in real life if lapped cars are ghosted.
@Ultrasonic_77 There is. If the safety car in the track just after the leader lap you and you're the only one who is lapped, you can retire because after restart, the 18 other cars will lap you and you will have one lap between you and the car ahead instead of few seconds before the SC.

I think he is trying to say that when the safety car is coming to an end, if you are behind the leader, but a lap down, you will get blue flags for the whole field to overtake you.
therefore you might aswell retire becasue your race is f…….

Ah yes, could be.
I hadn't thought of this aspect before. I was thinking that ghosting of lapped cars meant there was little point adding unlapping to the game. This is true for cars on the lead lap but not for those who have been lapped, who lose out on what would be the real-life opportunity to catch up.
