Will there be more updates for this game? I mean, there is still a long list of issues waiting to be fixed so I hope this game is not abandoned yet by the dev team.
I know they need to work on the next years game, but it is not the fault of us, the players, that they have committed into a ridiculous yearly release schedule. We still demand for functioning games.
When I loaded the game on Friday I got one of those advertising popups saying something like "New Update Incoming" (but it didn't have any additional information). So I imagine we're due one soon, possibly even today.

The fear is real. There are a couple of bugs that are really annoying me right now that I'm hoping will be fixed (and as they are marked as 'awaiting patch' in the community issues thread, I don't see why they wouldn't be), but I have to wonder: At what cost?!
Co-op mode stops working completely? Safety cars explode when hitting 88MPH? Hitting a kerb too hard causes the console to reboot?!
Obviously I'm hoping we get a ton of good fixes and no additional bugs, but the patch history for this game does not favour that at all.

I haven't been tracking this too closely, so don't quote me on it, but I feel like their patches usually drop early in the afternoon (European time) and early in the week (Monday, maybe Tuesday). Would make sense too (gives them the rest of the week to react if something goes badly wrong).

I do wonder though if it was ready last Friday. But after the tyre bugs in the last patch it they held it back until today so they didnt come back after the weekend to a mountain off bug reports.
From my own experience in game dev these patches will have been in testing for multiple days before they launch them. And as we haven't had a patch for over a month, I'm going to assume they've been testing this one even more throughly to make sure they haven't added any new bugs along the way (which also leads me to think this might be the last patch for '22).
But yeah, as before, I think they release on Monday as strategically it makes the most sense (wouldn't want to be calling people up on a Saturday to hot fix something that went live on Friday).
