@Monzstar83 There are many different Playseats available.
I've seen vids where the light weight one can flex in the middle.
Have someone record you braking from a side view without the game on.
Should be obvious any issues.

@BadMayh3m thanks mate - doing OK.
Yep, got my wife to record it a while back and can see the in addition to the give in the carpet under the brake, the playseat challenge also has some roll movement when braking, towards where the pedal tray attaches to the main cockpit frame. This is despite me securing the area further with zip ties etc so am designing a foldable, wooden frame that the entire rig will sit on, and will secure the rig to it at various points using some mechanism or other.
