Virtual Rear View Mirror not showing.

Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug First of all, OSD customisation was not available. Then after a restart it is there but greyed out. All I want is a rear view mirror. I have seen people enable it and move it and damn it all looks so complicated. I have enabled rear virtual mirror but I just cannot see it anywhere.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Driver Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Virtual mirror when set to yes does not appear.
What happens when the bug occurs? All I want is the rear view mirror, have not done a single lap yet, all this commentary, locked views, all so complicated.
What do you expect to see? A rear view arcade game style rear mirror.

Is there a certain area of the game I need to be in to be able to enable rear view virtual mirror?

Why is OSD customisation greyed out.

    @Divinal OSD customization is available only when you are on track, not in main menu options. Hopefully this helps, this solved it to me at least.

    Go to display setting, than make sure OSD settings is turned on, than go to OSD Customization than click the rearview mirror element it should be highlighted red you will have an option that says Hide or Hidden Element it should say on you need to turn this option off for the rearview mirror to show in races when turned off it should be highlighted green.

    Thank you for the reply, but the OSD customisation, now that it finally shows, is greyed out.

    So are you saying the mirror is hidden even though I have set it to yes?

    Maybe I am too old.  I thought turning something on would um just turn it on.
