@SmallerSmileySuppose the work around would be for the drivers to send a quick txt or e-mail to the commentary team before race starts with the forecast🤷♂️
not an ideal solution but a solution nonetheless

@jscar thats exactly right and what happens at the moment, but I've seen a few where they haven't or have forgotten to, and its spoiled the commentary a bit because the commentators don't know the full story. Plus, it may give something visual on the spectator waiting screen during race setup, instead of just the paddock.
Maybe a couple of cycling visuals on that waiting screen that cycle weather forecast, suggested pit strategies and grid lineup?

Every professional commentator writes extremely detailed notes on every event they are commentating on. Track history, driver history, race history, effects weather has and the likelihood off rain. So forecasts are vital😀- SmallerSmiley3 years agoNew Traveler
Oh yes for sure, but some people do like to casually commentate without putting in all of that time.
Also, I'm thinking of the audience who sit and look at a static paddock for 5mins whilst the drivers get ready. It'll be some QoL eye candy for them too.
