I want to start off with this so that I can be as clear as possible. I know the mods aren't responsible for this in the first place, and I know they aren't responsible for the lack of a positive outcome for this. The following is in no way directed at the mods but is directed to both EA and Codemasters. I say both because EA is Codemasters. Codemasters is EA. That's what happens when you get bought out by a publisher. They both are responsible for this, and they both are to blame.
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired regarding these types of problems that seemingly continue to occur with games published by EA. I was on these boards two years ago complaining when the FUSE servers went down with no notice. EA did nothing. EA Sports Fifa Football on the PS Vita had a broken trophy on day one. It was never fixed. EA did nothing.

They say it's not possible. That is, quite honestly, untrue. I recently did Grid Autosport on the PS3 which was released in 2014. All online trophies were fine including the Racenet challenges, which were the weekly events for that game. Just now, I literally logged online in F1 2013 on my PS3 and was able to get access to a Racenet challenge. Players were getting the trophies for the weekly events for F1 2019 three years after release.
I already severely reduced the money I spent on EA games after the FUSE situation. I now will have to analyze yet again what money, if any, I will give to EA. To drop support for a title after 11 months, and without any warning whatsoever, is, quite frankly, disgusting. Right now, EA and Codemasters can do right by their players, their paying customers, and bring back the weekly events. EA and Codemasters have a choice to make. Right now, they are saying it's not possible. They are choosing to treat their fanbase, their players, their paying customers, with indifference and contempt. Why would I continue to support, or why should anyone continue to support for that matter, two companies who treat their customers like this?
