Learn manual gears. Automatic should be slower, as it is now.
- @Koppara I accept that it's slower, that's fine with me, but I wouldn't learn to shift manual gears with the joystick, it's complicated and above all brings no fun
- SomaticCoast3753 years agoNew Hotshot@Koppara It already was slower but now they made it a lot slower which is an issue
- @SomaticCoast375 I hope 1.09 comes out before next week
the problem isn't that it's slower, it's that they totally wrecked the upshifting on auto gears 2 patches ago. They have admitted they didn't account for it and are in the process of fixing it.
So how about you learn some manners?

why you want patch every week? the game can´t fix nothing, continues with major problems like wrong tyre allocation, IA without tyre temperatures and tyre wear, wrong teams performance, don´t know why release more patches if never fix the main problems, looks better wait 1 or 2 months to try fix anything relevant
- @thiago_ssj Why wait 1 or 2 months? if you fix something you might as well make a patch, and when you fix something else you might as well make another patch.
Already the small patches bring bugs so a patch of 1 month or 2 I don't even imagine the time to identify potential problems.
Especially if my problem was repaired but waiting for a patch ... I have to wait for everything else to be corrected to get the patch? not everyone considers a problem in F1 among a group of people as a problem for them too, every time you fix a problem new players will come back to play. They need to be corrected quickly with small patches if they want us to continue buying day one games. Fixes need time. They have to be investigated, coded and tested. There is no chance of weekly updates.

Indeed. Obviously we all wish the game worked properly on release, but rushed updates causing more issues than they fix aren't great either.
I was frankly expecting patch still this week, there is still few hours to go, but looks like it's not coming even though there in their community raised issues post, they have listed couple of the more urgent ones as awaiting patch (cold tires/formation lap related problem and the auto gears issue especially). Might be summer vacations slowing things down...
I personally don't expect changes/fixes to the tire allocation or AI tyre temperature/wear related stuff, as those seem to be more intentional choises they have made at this point, even if it's not correct or realistic (they haven't listed those in that post either at all). I hope I'm wrong, but I fear those issues might not be touched until next game...
I like to watch quite a bit of the top tier PSGL and WOR races (and upcoming official eSport stuff), and there is still too many desyncs happening (and I guess still occasional double warnings), which I hope will be addressed as it's not good for us viewers or the players themselves.
