I agree with @Ultrasonic_77 that in the time the auto gears problem has existed is sufficient time to learn auto gears and could have been a good time to drop an assist.
i did learn manual gears on a wheel, but recently tried using controller, as so many people were complaining about no feedback. And was surprised with how easy it was to do manual on a controller.
I understand it’s not for everyone and should hopefully be fixed soon.
@ajobling1983 Honestly I tried I don't like it, I tried several times on F1 games and even on other games, on the controller I never liked the manual gears.
