AI is a hard and tricky thing to programme so don’t expect that to really happen. They were close to having it consistent at all tracks and weather, messed it up a bit and now its better-ish. I found the AI at Monaco to be about 5 tenths faster than at the other tracks I’ve raced so far this patch in My Team. Last patch the same difference showed up in Singapore and the patch before that in Baku in the wet so maybe its street circuits. I can live with that, but I never play on line.
The tyre issue cam in with I think a misunderstanding of the rule last year and the problem with fixing it is probably also related to AI. My guess is that strategies were designed with one rule in mind and freeing the tyres will give players options but will unbalance the AI.
Just a guess though….
@ScarDuck14They implemented a partial fix in my team but didn't bother putting it into single player or online Ai lobbies.

As to tyre allocation its pretty damaged league racing too
@FG44141Which like I said. Is a change to the ai cars physics. Not the ai’s behaviour: Ai drive the cars. The mod Alex used in that videos nerfs the cars performance only.
Like you and me the ai drive the cars.
the ai still get perfect traction and acceleration out off slow corners. But the car’s ability to accelerate has been nerfed
@ScarDuck14True but its the performance that really needs fixed to make it better to race them. I don't have too much of a problem with their behaviour as its always been dangerous in codies games.
The issue comes that as the Ai have better 'MaxBaulkTorque' in the game file, they are always quicker out of a corner, so to combat that you have to turn the difficulty way down which means they are so slow on entry which ruins racing.
