When will R&D actually change your car?
I'm wondering when we will get an update or a game where the R&D will actually change how your car looks. Because just doing R&D upgrades and not seeing anything or really see a difference in handlin...

@ScarDuck14 I’ve thought about this as well. It would be awesome if you could design your car like an avatar. Have different side pod designs, front/rear wing designs, nose cones, etc.
Obviously it would tricky to design/code all these as interchangeable elements that when stuck together look and fit seamlessly- but damn it would be cool.

This would be way cooler than F1Life. Being able to customize the look of your car, facilities, and crew members would be awesome. But we get a couch.
Genuine question - under what circumstances is it that you'd like to be able to see the changes? Do you use camera views where you'd notice this when racing or is this for replays? Or something else?
- @Ultrasonic_77 Yes. Anywhere that you see 👀 your car. Your My Team Home Screen, replays, all of the above.
- @KVNR01 This is probably not coming anytime soon as they would need to change the bodywork for most chassis and aero upgrades for 11 teams not only visually but physically for accurate crash physics (yes i know they are not accurate but people would complain if you had a Merc-style front wing developed and saw a completely different frontwing flying off) and all this being compatible with the liveries. Only changes for MyTeam would be half baked and real F1 teams dont allow changes to bodywork that arent real, not even mentioning the sponsors haha
Yes it would be cool but its too unrealistic i think at the current point in time
