Where can i find te setting for the control of steering in the pit

I cant find the setting for steering in the pits. I have searched everywhere but i cant find it.

  • Do you mean the button you have to time when to press when using the immersive pitstop option? It will show you on screen what the button is at the time you need it. Checking the control options I can't see a key binding specifically labelled for this, so not sure if it automatically mirrors another, or can't be changed.

    @beans946 just spotted I missed your last photo but I'm afraid it doesn't really mean anything to me without seeing the commands as well as the buttons.

    @beans946Here we go.......what is a PlayStation wheel?
    Go to a controller and test to see if this problem still exist cause I know they have defaults.

    Let us know what happens.

    Bear in mind @beans946 is playing on PC. They may not have a controller and I'm not sure the defaults would necessarily match the console ones if they did?

    I just had a bit of a play about with this...

    I'm pretty sure that the button used is the one bound to the Accept/Advance option that is the 5th one down in the Menu options category. I can't absolutely confirm it as on my PS5 controller it won't let me assign this to anything else, as I was trying to do to do see if I then had a different button shown when coming into the pits. The only other functions the same button is bound to are Clutch and Gear Up, and changing either of these didn't change the button shown.

    Playing about with the OSD customisation I can't personally see a way to make just the button prompt appear/disappear. All I can see is what @ScarDuck14 showed in his photos above, where showing/hiding the Pit Message OSD element affects both the button prompt and the countdown timer elements.

    @Ultrasonic_77 Been catching up on 3-4 days without sleep. Sorry I was rude when I last replied. My fault for posting when my mind was so exhausted plus And I obviously missed the issue was to do with binding.

    Not 100% if it’s default button to press but I use x to turn in. as I rebind x to bring up mfd instead off upshift: and rebind 🔲 to talk to pit.

    No need to apologise 🙂. My post you first responded to could have been clearer and no offense taken!
