Which version of F1 do you like the most and why?

Hi, to get an idea of what the community thinks and maybe could also be useful to developers for the future (when expressed constructively), which are the F1 games you liked the most and why. I've read around some fragmented comments, even tweets from eSports drivers but rarely fully motivated.

I start. I have only played F1 2020 - F1 2021 and F1 22, my interest is mainly on the handling and realism. I don't care aboutBraking Point, Supercars Hotlaps etc.

My favourite version is the beginning of F1 2021 with the modified brake bias, before the fix.

I don't denigrate F1 22 anyway because if the handling is evidently more understeer this is in line with the real.

Your turn 🙂

  • 2012 and 2013 are on the level of this generation of F1 games. newer games are definitely 2017 and the best of all time is probably 2020.

2021 was much worse than 2020 and super unrealistic, 2022: well, we dont need to start. Even the 2020 F1 game has a closer handling to real F1 cars than this years game.

  • Also about your 22 comment  and understeer:
No, its not in line with realism. Yes, the 22 gen are heavier and therfore produce more understeer but i can only recommend you playing an actual simulator. If you do so you will never ever open F1 22 again if you like to play it bc realism. Because its so far of the real 22 cars, its closer to mario kart. Like i said before, the F1 2020 game has a closer handling and aero model to the 22 cars than this years game.

F1 22 is probably the most unrealistic game that is suposed to emulate realism. Asetto Corsa, Raceroom have very good F1 cars and the most realistic f1 car in a game is the mercedes on iRacing. Do that and you see how reactive and agile those F1 cars actually are.

  • F1 20. Best Handling, Classic Cars and Tracks, Best Rain Driving.

    F1 21+22 are crap.

F1 23 could be good if the buggy Rain Driving is fixed and we get classic cars back.

F1 World was Interesting but summary a bit flat if you ask me.
