Plus I have watched lots of start procedures on F1TV with the onboard cams, the procedure and rpms haven’t changed this radical in real life. Starting rpms are almost to 100% identical in real life. Ingame the starting “optimal” revs are almost too Idle RPMS, where last years RPMS were close to real
So there’s no excuse to suddenly change it ingame unless you built a new handling model and somehow managed to break the starting procedure.
Again, I'm hoping the patch will fix this. If not, I'll have a closer look at a real life vs. game comparison. Let's give David and his team the benefit of doubt.

@JasVerstoppen038 @ Sure, just don't expect any changes or comments before the release of the patch.

@JasVerstoppen038 Completely agree with you - I play without TC as well and starts are broken. Optimal revs are way too low and I'm losing positions easily playing career but especially online vs players playing with TC. Like you mentioned with "optimal revs" after lights off it's really hard not to lose control over your car, either you spin or lose lots of position accelerating slowly and trying not to spin... I checked the onboards too and it's like you said, drivers are keeping quite high rpms.
I thought it was me doing something wrong even though I didn't have problems with manual starts in the previous games, but seems like it's simply broken for now. I will try to make some starts with higher rpms to see if this will help, but still it should be fixed ASAP.
