Why Controllers are hard in f1 22

controller players are built different in f1 game lol. on a serious note tho, f1 games on pad is just getting more difficult. im decently quick on a controller, top 4percent in most tracks and the rest top 3 percent, league driver, 105AI in career mode. all that lacks is the enjoyment on pad. the car is super floaty like a frackin hoverboard and traction is really inconsistent. the throttle application isnt precise. when i try to lift in fast corners, the green bar shows full which means im going flatout. i apply 80percent throttle, it goes flatout. so unprecise. 

yall remember when the news came out that cm got the f1 license, like over a decade ago? cm has been criticized hard bfr even releasing a game, because bfr the f1 game, they made rally games. in these rally games, players werent really fond of it because of floaty cars physics, and the traction didnt make sense. now they injected these crap physics into f1 games.

  • @anirudh2313 I think it’s a case off every year the handling model changes even improves.. But they do nothing about adapting the controller inputs to best compliment those changes…. I have raised this numerous times. Especially this year. They have listened to my moaning. And have been told they are looking into implementing some off the things I’ve moaned about but won’t be on this years game unfortunately.

    This is a joke right?

    Top 4%, 105 AI and League racer but complaining about how difficult controllers are to use.

    On top of this doesn't understand they need to replace their controller, might I suggest.........A WHEEL!

    There are people who would LOVE to have those numbers.

    One last thing to say........LMAO!

    @BadMayh3mI have no prejudice. I strive to help all… novices to elites…. Elitists obviously don’t need help cause they git guded🙄However They do need  help with many many things that only professional psychiatric help provides😂

  • When I bought my Xbox, there was 2 controller that came with it. So I now had 3 controller total. What I found was that there was a real and very noticeable difference between where each controller's trigger input registered as 100% in their travel. Some of them also had a pretty noticeable deadzone.

    My conclusion was that there was a pretty big difference in the internal calibration of the hall effect sensor or maybe magnet strength. This can't be fixed as it is part of the controller's firmware  And this problem also registered outside of the game and on a new controller that I returned. It was very hit and miss from one to the other.

    What you are describing seems like what I experienced and could very well be your controllers fault.

    Can confirm this is my experience on a wheel also (fanatec csl elite).
    /also around top 3-5% no-assist driver.
