Why doesn’t ever rain?

    @alexito00009welcome👍In previous years games it pretty much rained all the time. So we begged and pleaded for years for there be less rain. Now we pretty much have no rain. 🤷‍♂️. Always one extreme to another 

    However one of the biggest problems with this years game. Is the Ai way overpowered in the wet. So rain isn’t something I miss

You raise a good question.

The answer is no - you cannot enable or disable rain in a career mode. It is purely up to chance.

I suppose this is because the developers want career mode to be as realistic as possible, so you can’t pick and choose the weather conditions for a race weekend. 

I think it’s just a lucky/unlucky (depends on how you look at it) coincidence that you haven’t had any rain so far.

It does make sense thanks. Yes, I understand I can’t force the rain for a particular race, however my point was that since I have not seen the train since I started playing and I have already played I was wondering if I had to set up any specific settings. What I’m understanding from your answers is that rain is very uncommon in F1 2022. In F1 2019 it rained in 3-4 races per season and I personally enjoyed that a lot. It’s a pity that in 2022 rain is so uncommon.

    @alexito00009 Will also depend on race length. I do 50% and get rain more than I would like. But vast majority of time it doesn’t rain for the entire race.

      Thanks @ScarDuck14 however I’m not talking about not raining in a specific race. I’m talking about the fact that I have played 2 full seasons of 20+ races each and have not seen the rain yet neither during the races nor any of the free practices. Isn’t it weird?

        @alexito00009 It is odd. Generally in first season it would rain on and off. Then from posts by others and what I’ve noticed is second season on rain disappears.

        It could also be down too. Many people have posted complaining that the Ai are op on wet. Especially during the crossover period during a race. wet/dry dry/wet. So it’s possible that the chances off rain have been drastically reduced, maybe even disabled
