Why the AI is so hard to set.

i experienced some differences, but started season (no my team) with ferrari and my character before patch 1.06
used to play previous games at 90 max......(no, i'm not the guy who says i play at 110 using only my toes and drinking coffee...... 😬)
and this year after some tests in quick gp mode, i set 65 for quali and 70 for race...
bahrein 1,29,7 (ai at 65); me 1,30,0
australia 1,20,1 (ai at 65); me 1,18,7
imola 1,17,2 (ai at 60); me 1,18,0 after patch 1.06
miami 1,30,2 (ai at 60); me 1,29,6 after patch 1.07
what i notice obviously is that ai is so much op and hard....and that it seems that quali is faster than race, with a quite constant ratio, between 65 and 70
but in miami yesterday, the race was full wet, set in 65...i started 1' and had so great battles with Lec, until he passed me and suddenly was at -12'' after 5/7 laps......so unrealistic.
regarding your time evaluations, i find it completely different but can be because you recorded them after patch 1.07 for australia and bahrein also if seems quite difficult to understand.
the final point: the real times are always beaten from ai too easily and at ridicolous difficulties.....they should match them only at 100.
- @6zu4dwx0ubzn Yes, I did do it after patch 1.07. And you sound around the same level as me, I could probably sneak up to 95 last year if I was a Merc in the weekly event. Quali is always faster than the race because of fuel loads and is the same for the player, so that's not a worry. I haven't done anything in the rain yet, but again it's sounding like they’re just too perfect in the rain, as has been the case in the last few games till fixed. Totally agree with the final point, but CM/EA won't of had a lot of the data we have now, and still half a season to go. I suppose they should be able to better estimate the times for future races a bit better now they have half a season of data.

Row 1 is AI level row 2 is pole row 3 is p10 row 4 is last row 5 is the difference between pole on that level to pole on the level below row 6 is the difference between p 10 and the level below and row 7 is the difference between last and the level below.My comparisons were done in Grand Prix mode, So for them to say AI doesn't need looking into on that mode is a little odd to me.
