Will voice commands be available on F122 on PS5?
Will voice commands be available on F1 22 on PS5? Would love to know for sure before buying - specifically which version.
Can conform they do NOT work on PS5. 😮💨

@Cpayne32, generally agree with you. For me (and a few others), it is pretty deal-breaking. I think it’s not so much an issue as we can still get the PS4 version on PS5 (and I’m willing to sacrifice better graphics and audio for it, as it currently stands). I think if they only released the new game for PS5, it’d be a bigger deal for the user base (I know they won’t right now as not enough PS5 users out there due to console availability). Failing voice commands they need to let us edit the first MFD page for commands we most use.
As Sony added voice control to ps5 in a recent update I’m going to assume it will be available in game. Reason it wasn’t in 21 is because off Sony and not Codemasters

I think that would be a bold assumption. The change was only fairly recent, and I'm not sure if we know that it definitely enabled what Codemasters would need, as distinct from just enabling the current limited voice control of the PS5 console? I HOPE that F1 22 does support voice control on PS5 at launch but I think it's far from a safe assumption personally.

Do you mean a recent update in F1 22 or 21? Just so I don't go wasting my time going through F1 21 trying to find an option that isn't there lol@Gamer_Bhoy_Dave Sorry no. I was saying ps5 had been updated by Sony so it now has voice control.
- @Monzstar83 Absolutely. For me the commands I would use most is pit, weather update, gap ahead/behind, vehicle condition and tyre condition
- @Cpayne32 Absolutely, I’d like to see them bring the first page MFD customisation irrespective of the voice command situation, as I’m sure everyone would make use of it
Same here, bolted straight in and bought ps5 version. NO VOICE COMMAND😡. Hell, can’t even press a button at the moment due to what ever is going in on. Wish I’d got ps4 version now. Voice control is priceless. ( metaphorically speaking EA before you microtransaction the function)
@the_cyborganizer Rebind. R1 button to another button like triangle and it will work. Still won’t be able to use voice but you will at least be able to erm talk? Contact engineer
