Windows version fix required.... !

The Game states that'm using an old version of Windows, which I'm not currently on 19045.2311 @ 1/12/22. Is there a work around as I haven't been able to get into the game since purchase and it seems...

    Can only think there is a check that is incorrect in the game or an error in the Windows installation.

    Things to check - are you running the game from Steam or EA / Origin? Always do a game file integrity / check.

    If you are launching from a shortcut, try from the launcher. e.g. from 'Play' in Steam Library rather than any desktop shortcut.

    If it is a shortcut, check the properties. Make sure it is not running in compatibility mode (e.g. Windows 8, etc.) or as an administrator. 

    19045.2311 is actually a preview release, you could try uninstalling KB5020030.

    Try a WIndows DISM check (from an elevated CMD prompt)

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    I've followed the advice provided. Uninstalled KB5020030. Double checked that the compatibilty settings of the Game icon and Origin exe are set to 'normal',

    Just so that you are aware, I had purchased this game from Steam twice (!), The first time, no luck in getting into the game and therefore got a refund. Realised that there were lots of advice provided on various platforms including YouTube, so purchased it again and tried all the suggestions. No luck. Requested and got a second refund. There was a suggestion that the game being puchased with Origin should have more success of working. So purchased it from there. No luck. Made sure I had an EA log -in as well.

    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.80 GHz

    Ram: 32.0 GB

    System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Windows edition: Windows 10 Pro

    Version: 22H2

    OS build 19045.2251 with KB 5020030 removed

    Graphic Card Geoforce 3070Ti

    Game ready driver: 527.37 installed today 02/12/2022.

    Graphic game settings set to optimised.

    Sound Card Xonar Audio:

    Latest firmware 8.1.11.5

    Did a file integrity check on all installation. Loaded game onto different drives X 4

    First time ever that I haven't been able to get a game to run even to the opening screen.

    As EA appear to not be giving refunds it looks like I've got a lemon.
