Update: On the Brazil sprint weekend of the co-op career, I had the opposite issue. My tire allocation was for a normal race weekend while my co-op partner (who is the host of the session) had the correct tires. This time, there was seemingly no consequence from it; even though I had no tires formally allocated for the sprint race, when starting it I still had dry tires available. (I think I ran mediums.) Posting captures of my tire allocation (you can see on the selected tire it says "recommended for P3" when actually there is no P3) and my partner's tires (which look right for the sprint weekend).
