@IcmanMUC The game is already 6 weeks old, including this bug. So actually I expect a quick solution. It's just sloppy from EA/CM, especially since the tire allocation seems to be ok in Sprint weekends.

@Bas_Sie89 technically the tire allocation during Sprint weekends is wrong as well. It works out that we can get an extra set of Mediums, but it's right for the wrong reasons - if that makes sense.
According to the FIA sporting regs, on Sprint weekends the drivers each get 12 sets of tires: 4 Med; 2 Hard; 6 Soft. The game get's that much right at least.
However per the sporting regs, the teams are only required not to RETURN 1 set of Soft tires before Q3; and 1 set of Mediums + 1 set of Hards before the race.
The teams are free to use the remaining tire allocation (9 sets) however they see fit. There's no stipulation that 3 sets of Soft tires be reserved for Qualifying.
They also get to choose which set of tires they return after FP1. After Q3 they have to return the 1 set of Softs meant for Q3 plus one additional set of their choice (2 sets total).
It's only after FP2 and the Sprint that they have to return 1 set with the most laps. The game always returns the 1 set with the most laps which isn't accurate.
So to recap:
The game reserved additional Soft tires for qualifying unnecessarily.
The game always returns the set of tires with the most laps which isn't correct following FP1 or Qualifying.

- 3 years agoThat's my point. It's ok in the Sprint weekends because we have more choice in strategies there. Which is missing in standard GP weekends. I don't care that it's not quite the exact sporting regulations, as long as we get real choice in tire strategy, with at least an extra set of medium tires, and possibly extra hards and less soft tires.

Quick update. I’ve opened up a new topic in General Discussion about this. Those interested should join that thread also 👍👍

Can we get an update here?
It's been weeks since this issue was forwarded and it's dead silence since then by you guys.
Is this being investigated? Not a priority right now to devs? Why hasn't it even made its way into the "Investigating" list yet? Do devs not consider this to be an issue?

We look forward to adding this issue in research
